Jarrad Oakley Nicholls
Co-Founder & Managing Director Jarrad Oakley Nicholls has a decade of experience in Aboriginal employment services and business development working with construction leaders across civil, mining and Government to employ long term unemployed people.
Jarrad is a proud Aboriginal man with family and cultural ties to Malgana & Amangu (Yamatji), Wiradjuri (Koori), Southwest Boojarah & Whadjuk (Noongar) and Kija (East Kimberly’s) traditional owner groups.
Jarrad founded Oaks Rail and Civil to create positive employment opportunities for Aboriginal people and the local community. Further to drive a quality and safety focused business to lead by example for the civil construction industry and set the standard for Aboriginal businesses.
Mike Keane
Co-Founder and Director Mike Keane has two decades of experience guiding large-scale civil construction projects from Perth to remote regional zones, Mike combines deep operational insight with a strong focus on safety, quality and client delivery. His leadership has helped build a business culture rooted in integrity, teamwork and local engagement.
Under his direction, the company has expanded its capabilities to include rail corridor civil works, complex trackside infrastructure and integrated plant hire and labour service - positioning Oaks Rail and Civil as a trusted partner for major infrastructure clients.
