Oaks Rail and Civil were engaged by the Public Transit Authority as principal contractor to complete a variety of works in accordance with the updated Disability Discrimination Act. Working on stations such as Ashfield, Guildford and Meltham, Oaks Rail & Civil were responsible for replacing existing and adding new safety tactile paving’s and painting visibility strips across the stations in accordance with the updated act. All workers were required to have Rail Industry Worker accreditations.
